How can you call it consensual when it was statutory rape? The age of consent was 16 not 15. It may be a small difference but it's the law. Secondly don't you know if there is alcohol or drugs involved that a person that is impaired no matter what age CAN'T give consent. You are opening the door to what was made a capital crime in '72 to prevent retaliation from the victim's family and lessen these crimes by making it a death penalty case. Garifuna people are originally came from eastern Nigeria called Cross River State (Calabar). The Men have their own Language while the Women also have theirs. They still exist in Cross River State- Calabar of Nigeria till today. So these people originally came from Nigeria although they might have split all over the world, they escaped from a shipwreck during slavery and mixed up with people that have been living there in the Caribbean before they came. Do your research you will find the Garifuna people in the Eastern part of Nigeria in Cross River State Calabar.

Many years ago Mr. Albertson sold me a mountain dulcimer much like the one he plays here, and played a little on it for me.
